This customer asked for Garfield and Barney. I had to free hand draw these on a cake. I love how Garfield turned out but I hate how Barney's head turned out.
I was really nervous to do this cake. But as I was making this cake, it turned out to be really easy. It just is time consuming.
Both of the kids sat in the third row of my parents Expedition. I had the middle seat all to myself.
Drew is showing me his picture that he did.
After lunch we spent the next several hours in the car driving around looking at Carrie's and Jennifer's new homes they just bought. Then to the mall to buy some make-up for Carol. Then to pick up the dessert for the night and dropping in off at the hotel. Then we made it to our movie, The Adjustment Bureau. After the movie we did some more driving around until we made it back to the hotel. I was so tired by the end of this day that I went home with Amanda to sleep in bed with my kids. I said my good-byes to the Sisters and the next day we made the drive home.
For those who didn't know, I turned 28 on the 5th. For my birthday, David got us tickets to go to Super Cross on the 8th. On my actual birthday, we had lunch at my parents house and visited with my Grandma and my sister-in-law Brittany. Then we came home to make dinner and have Dessert with my In-laws. It was nice relaxing day and I was counting down the days to Saturday because that was when Super Cross was. I was soooooooo Excited.
This is the view of the track while we were walking around the stadium to our seats.

More shots of the race
I had fun for my first time going to a race.

After some play time inside we sent to kids outside to play.
My parents bought a climbing wall or mountain for the kids last year. This is Drew's favorite thing to play with when he goes over to my parents house.

He was so excited for his cake that we had to sing to him ASAP, so that he could eat it.
Drew's party was really small. My parents were able to come over with my Grandma from Utah, Chris and Carol stayed in town for his birthday party, and my brother and his family were able to come bye.
He got a really "How to Train your Dragon" toy.
Then Grandma Shepherd, David and I got Drew a chair of his own to sit in. (This is once in a blue moon picture.)
There much better. He just loves this chair. When we were at the store he would just sit in it and play with all the toys. I knew this would be a nice thing for us to get him.
Andrew waiting to get released from his room.
Drew was just so excited to see what he got that he was willing to open everyone's presents for them. One of his presents was this Batman cave play set. Both the kids love this thing.
After the enjoyment of Christmas morning we relaxed for a bit while Kaitlynn took her nap and then we headed over to my parents house. There we are greeted with more presents for the kids that Santa left them. Drew decided to stack them before we could open them up.
One of Kaitlynn's presents was a Minnie Mouse.
Drew got this dragon toy that looks like it is from "How to Train your Dragon" but it is more expensive.
