The Wait is Over

Okay I had an appointment today and I got the well anticipated results. I am still early in my pregnancy.....I am 9wks 1day today.
My due date is late August. They are having me schedule my C-section at my next appointment in four weeks. I thought that I was 11 weeks, if you go off my last period. I wasn't that far off.
The baby has a strong heart beat and is doing good.

Disneyland 2009

We went to Disneyland on my birthday this year. (January 5th) Since it was my birthday, I got into Disneyland for FREE!!!

There was some family that made the trip with us to Disneyland. It made it fun to be able to spend some time with family at the park.

Then at the last minute Chris and Carol worked it out so that they can go with us. It was the first time that Drew went to any type of Amusement Park and he had a blast for the short time that he was there. We went straight to Toon Town and explored around there all day. We ran into Minnie mouse by her house in Toon Town. Drew didn't care that there was already someone talking to Minnie. Drew really cared about her shoes.After we met Minnie Mouse, we finished walking through her house and into Mickey's house. We explored in there while Darren and Carrie took Walter and Kylie to see Minnie mouse. Andrew just ran around. When they were finished we continued through Mickey's house to see Mickey Mouse. We had to wait just a few minutes before we got in to see the Mouse.

Later on that Day, Drew saw Pluto and Goofy. When we got to Pluto, he was on his way back in. I tried to tell Drew that we have to wait until later but he ran up to him without listening. Pluto played it off really good. Drew followed him for a little bit.

I think that Drew only stayed at Disneyland for a couple hours. David and I ate some lunch on shifts so that one of us could keep an eye on Drew. After lunch we ran around some more until it was time for Drew to take a well needed nap. We strapped him into the stroller and walked around the park unil he passed out. His nap in the stroller only lasted maybe a hour. Since we went with family, we asked Chris and Carol, if they wouldn't mind taking Drew home so that we can go on some rides. They agreed and took Drew home around 3pm.

After we said our good-byes, we headed over to California Adventure to go on some rides before they closed at 6pm. We ended up going on three rides: the Tower of Terror, a carnavil ride, and the roller coaster. Since the park closed once we got off the last ride, we walked back to Disneyland. Once back in the park, we went to the Tikki Room with Darren and Family before they said their good-byes and went home. David and I stayed till the end. We ran over to Space mountain and waited in line for half and hour. Once we were done, we ran over to Thunder Moutain. Once off that ride, we made it to the Pirates of the Carabean just before it closed. After the Pirates, the park was closed and we started our walk back to the car. We drove to an Inn-n-Out for dinner and got home around 11pm. We had a blast at Disneyland.

Drew's 2nd Birthday

Andrew turned two years old on Tuesday the 30th December.We ate cake and opened presents. There was a lot people here for his birthday this year. Lisa and her family were still in town, Darren and his family are still here, Jennifer and her two kids, and my parents and Grandma came over for the fun. It was fun to have family here to help celebrate with us this year.

These are just a few of his toys that he got for his birthday. We are trying to make his birthday a big deal since it is very close to Christmas. He got more toys for his birthday then he got for Christmas.

After all the presents were opened, we all just hung out and watched all the kids play with the new toys that Drew got for his birthday. But Drew didn't mind too much that everyone was playing with his toys. He was playing so well by himself.

Family Picture: Part 2

After we took our Family picture. We dressed up the kids and re-enacted the nativity.

We had Kylie as Mary and Matthew as Joseph.

Then there was Micheal as a sheep. Walter as a Donkey and Drew was a Camel.

Then there are the three Shepherd boys, played by: Thomas, Tyler and our friend Kylie.

Our two Angels were played by: Natalie and our other friend Bethany.

The Three Wise Men were played by: Ashlyn, Lauren, and Matthew.
The King was played by Weston.

It was fun experience to be able to do something like this as a family. All the costumes were made by my Sister-In-Laws Lisa and Carrie. They both got together and set this all up and gave the whole nativity costumes to Carol (David's mom) for Christmas. We had fun singing together.

Christmas Day

SO we woke up at 7am on Christmas day. I brought Drew straight in our room to watch a movie to past some time. While we were in bed I heard our guests, Darren, Carrie, Kylie and Walter, talking down stairs. I went down to watch them open their presents. I shortly got David and Drew to open some of their presents.

From Santa Drew got a basketball hoop.

Andrew was just fascinated with the hoop. He really did put the ball through the hoop, but the camera was up stairs with David when I took Drew to the hoop from Santa. The hoop was a hit with all the kids. Then from us he got this "Little People" car hauler.
David and I also got some presents. I had already given David his two gifts a few weeks earlier so he didn't have anything to open. But David did buy me the gift that I have been waiting for many years now. He got me a Camel pack. Now what you have to understand too, is that David liked the one that he got me so much that he bought himself a new one, just like mine. In David's Family there are so many of them, we just draw name so we only have to get one family a gift for Christmas. Darren (David's Brother) and Carrie got our name for Christmas this year. Carrie is such a talented person that she painted David a picture. She took one of David's pictures of his car from Vegas and painted is minus the AC units in the back ground. It came out so good. THANKS CARRIE!
After some play time with his new toys and the toys of Walters. We headed over to my parents house for some breakfast and more presents. I didn't take a picture of what we got but I did get one of Drews biggest presents. My parents got Drew a toy box to put all his toys in. That too was a hit with all the kids back at the house.
After some time at my parents house, we headed home for some relaxation or a nap. While up in our room watching a movie, Walter decided to come and hang out with us.
We had a very full day, but it didn't end with a nap. After the nap, even more family arrived and we had a huge dinner. What a long and exciting day.
