Happy Birthday to ME!!

For those who didn't know, I turned 28 on the 5th. For my birthday, David got us tickets to go to Super Cross on the 8th. On my actual birthday, we had lunch at my parents house and visited with my Grandma and my sister-in-law Brittany. Then we came home to make dinner and have Dessert with my In-laws. It was nice relaxing day and I was counting down the days to Saturday because that was when Super Cross was. I was soooooooo Excited.
Here we are walking to Angel Stadium
This is the view of the track while we were walking around the stadium to our seats.
This is the view from our seats. This is a shot from the main event.

I had fun for my first time going to a race.

Great Grandma comes to Town

This year my Grandma flew down from Utah to spend the Holidays with us. I was so excited because she was able to meet Kaitlynn for the first time and to spend tons of time with my kids. She was here for Three weeks I believe and she saw my kids almost every day.
After some play time inside we sent to kids outside to play.
My parents bought a climbing wall or mountain for the kids last year. This is Drew's favorite thing to play with when he goes over to my parents house.

Keep reading there are two more new posts to read.

Andrew turned 4 yrs old

My little Man turned 4 on the 30th. I asked him to pick out a cake and he wanted this gum ball machine cake so I set out to make it. Drew helped me mix the cake mix, frost the cake, place the "gum balls" on the cake and the finishing touches. He was so excited for his cake that we had to sing to him ASAP, so that he could eat it.
Drew's party was really small. My parents were able to come over with my Grandma from Utah, Chris and Carol stayed in town for his birthday party, and my brother and his family were able to come bye.

.
After Drew was satisfied with his cake piece. we moved on to opening presents. Drew got some more pieces to go with his bat cave that he received for Christmas.
He got a really "How to Train your Dragon" toy.
Then Grandma Shepherd, David and I got Drew a chair of his own to sit in. (This is once in a blue moon picture.)
There much better. He just loves this chair. When we were at the store he would just sit in it and play with all the toys. I knew this would be a nice thing for us to get him.

Some Information about my Big boy:
-Drew goes to school Monday through Friday and takes the bus to school every day.
- He is little by little having moments of niceness towards his sister.
-trying to work toward potty training
-his speech is right there and We believe that he will be talking this year
-Drew is 40 inches tall
-He weights 32 lbs
-Just moved into 4T clothes
-He really is a good boy and We are happy to have him even though we do have our challenges

Christmas 2010: Part 2

Christmas morning was so much fun. The kids woke up bright and early at 7 am. (they wake up at this time every day) Andrew waiting to get released from his room.
Kaitlynn after a longs night rest.
The excitement as they come down the stairs to see what they got from Santa.
Drew was just so excited to see what he got that he was willing to open everyone's presents for them. One of his presents was this Batman cave play set. Both the kids love this thing.
We did get Kaitlynn some girl toys too. She got a stroller and a doll to go in the stroller.
After the enjoyment of Christmas morning we relaxed for a bit while Kaitlynn took her nap and then we headed over to my parents house. There we are greeted with more presents for the kids that Santa left them. Drew decided to stack them before we could open them up.One of Kaitlynn's presents was a Minnie Mouse.
Drew got this dragon toy that looks like it is from "How to Train your Dragon" but it is more expensive.
