Carving pumpkins and Halloween 2013

This year I cut off the tops of the kids pumpkins and let them scoop them out. Once they were clean I let the kids draw out their designs. I then cut them out.

This year we re-used our costumes from last year because they still fit. We did however trick or treat in the Sand Canyon area.

Lambardi Ranch

We went to Lambardi's today for our annual trip before Halloween.

We let the kids pick out there own pumpkins this year. Andrew jumped over the rows of pumpkins to find his perfect one. Kaitlynn took the nicer aprouch and stepped over the pumpkins.

One more photo before we leave. All the while Anna slept.

Welcome to the World

On Wednesday 10/9/13, David and I woke up early in the morning to drive down to Holy Cross Medical center to check in for our scheduled c section. We arrived at 7 am and they put us in the recovery area to wait for our turn to go into the operating room. We first found out that we were scheduled for a 9 am c section time but that slowly went bye.

Once we got the word, David got ready for surgery. I took my last potty break before I walked into the operating room.
Once in the at about 10:30 am, we waited and waited for all the paperwork to be checked twice before my spinal was placed and we could move forward. Once the spinal was placed, they laid me out, all the Drs came in and they cut me open. The cool part about this time around, I could see the reflection on the surgery in one of the surgical lights. I could see them cutting through the layers and the baby being pulled out.
After the baby was out, they put her on a table to be cleaned, weighed, and all sorts. This time around I was able to watch all that being done because the table placed where i could see it. I was even able to watch David cutting the cord.

Once everyone was squared away and doing fine. We called the families to come on down and meet the new member.

We are now a family of 5. That is just Crazy!

38 Weeks

Okay! I am at my end now. I am totally done with being pregnant. I have gained 30 lbs over the course of this pregnancy. I am done with gaining weight and can't wait to get my body back. This pregnancy has been totally different then the other two. I have had back pain in the beginning of the pregnancy. Then it moved over to some rib pain if i sat a weird angle or layed in bed wrong on my right side. I also have had indigestion every night and been living on Tums. This little girl is a mover and a shaker. Lately I've been saying that she likes to 'pop it, lock it, pokadot it'. Can't wait to meet this little active girl tomorrow.

Fun with the family

Today we took a trip to magic mountain. Since we were making the trip before the baby arrives, we also renewed and processed our new 2014 season passes.  After doing that we entered the park and got a wrist band for Drew to ride the 48 inch rides.
We first hit the Grand Carrousel before splitting up. David took Drew to Ninja but the line was too long. Then they hit Apocalypse and waited 30 minutes to ride it. After that they hit Gold rusher. They walked over to Colossus but ended up getting something to drink. Drew seemed done so they headed over to meet kaitlynn and I.
Meanwhile, kaitlynn and I were making our rounds in Bugs Bunny land. Kaitlynn went on every ride that was open. She was so excited to be able to ride some rides.

We met a Coyote on our adventure.
Kaitlynn and I had a fun day together. We ended up being done the same time David and Andrew were done. We met them halfway as they were walking to met us. We had a full three hours at the park.

36 weeks

I really haven't changed that much in Belly size. I am still waiting on a c-section date. The reason why I haven't gotten one yet is because of the week that I am suppose to deliver. Because of my blood condition and health history, I am suppose to deliver at 38 weeks. But the scheduler/hospital are wanting to schedule it for at least 39 weeks. That is because literature has come out and said that it's better for the baby to stay cooking until 39/40 weeks. But is also says that you can go earlier if the patient has a medical reason to go early. I am crossing my fingers that I have my Date tomorrow when I see the OB. I just want to know the exact date to look forward to. We are hoping for the 2nd. Fingers crossed. I am so ready to be done. I have more discomfort this time around and find myself laying in bed more.

Baby shower

On Thursday, my Baby shower was held at Julie Sanchez's house. It was put together kinda last minute but I had a good turn out. I was happy to see everyone who came to support me.
At the shower they did this painting activity. Everyone at the shower was asked to paint a little bit of the picture. Once the painting was finished, it would be hung on the wall in the baby's room/kids room. The painting didn't get finished that night but I am blaming that on the lack of light. The shower started at 7pm and the sun went down shortly afterwards.

I got so much cute stuff from everybody. I only added a couple shots of the gifts or this post would be very long.
These hats were made my long time friend, Melody. She does some very cute and wonderful items. You can check out her stuff on Lap of Luxury via Facebook or on Esty.com.

This ALL the loot that I scored just at my baby shower. I really feel blessed at this gathering.

What I didn't picture was the Bassinet that I got from Chris and Carol, and the group gift. The group gift this time was a crib. They collected enough money, from all who contributed money, to purchase us a crib. I was so happy and excited that people still cared to help us out. After Kaitlynn we didn't have more kids in the plans, so we gave away or sold everything. So having people care enough to help gather everything we need for this new baby is heart warming. I have more then enough clothes for this little girl. The kids closet is full of bags that are slit into every size imaginable for a baby to toddler. Thank you to everyone! Now we just have to wait till she gets here and we can start down this new and exciting journey.
