Andrew 6th birthday
For Andrew's birthday I threw a surprise superhero party for him.
My mom and I worked together to make the hero masks for the party. I got the masks from this blog...superhero-party-masks
Andrew was so excited!
The wonderful cake that was made for the party.
The family and friends playing on the trampoline.
Blowing out his six candles with a little encouragement from Kaitlynn.
Yum!! White cake, fresh strawberries with Non-dairy whip frosting.
After cake and some play time. We gathered around to open presents. Andrew got a ton of birthday presents. He was excited and very excited to play with every single one.
We even had Captain America join in on the Fun! Thank you to everyone who made this party happen. Thanks to my family and Friends that made Andrew's 6th birthday so Fun!

A trip to the ZOO
Yesterday we took our first trip to the zoo. I have to say that it was a total success.
Lisa (David's oldest sister) and her family flew in from Connecticut to spend the holiday's in California.
Went through the reptile house and saw lots of snacks, lizards, spiders, turtles and ect.
While outside waiting the rest of the group to make their way through, we took some pictures on the animals. Andrew thought it would be fun to photo balm another family's picture.
After the reptiles we made our way around the park to see the big animals. We stopped bye the kolas.
Met the gorillas and tigers!
Stopped by the seal habitat.
We checked out the flamingos.

On and off the whole day, we had one or both the kids taking a ride in the stroller. But at the end of the day, both the kids were tired and slept on the way the home. What a Day and Adventure!

Christmas 2012
Christmas morning I woke up at 6 am to help Santa put the presents under the tree. Kaitlynn ran into my room at 6:30 crying and I took her back to her room after calming her down until Daddy got out of bed. They stayed in their room until Daddy said that they could come out and see what Santa had brought them for Christmas.
The kids came down the stairs around 7 am and we were done with opening presents bye 8:30 I believe.
Drew got more little action figures.
Kaitlynn got some barbie stuff. A barbie beach house, a barbie corvette, and some barbie's to live in the house.
Santa also brought a present for Andrew and kaitlynn. It is called a "boogie board".
I got new snow gear!!!
At 11 am we drove over to my parents house for Lunch and to see my brother. We watched my brother and his kids open their presnts and talked for half an hour before we all went back to our homes.
Before we left I got a picture of Addie and kaitlynn. What a long day but very fun!!

Christmas lights
Yesterday we went to look at Christmas lights. We went to a couple streets but we only walked one of the streets. The line to drive into the development was moving so slow so we got out and walked.
In the beginning, we stopped at every house to read the story boards on all the lawns. But as we got further into the development the kids weren't that interested in reading all the boards. So we just resorted to just looking at everything.

Happy Thanksgiving 2012
This year for Thanksgiving we had family drive in from Arizona. Darren (David's younger brother) and Carrie's family were first to arrive. They showed up thursday morning and stayed for a couple hours. While they were still at the house, Jennifer (One of David's older sisters) and her family showed up.
(All pictures were taken by Carrie!!!)
David and I were able meet Carrie's new baby for the first time, Lucy!
Here is Grandpa and Grandma Shepherd for SOME of the Grandchildren. Left to right: Thomas with Kaitlynn, Walter, Grandpa, Jack, Grandma, Lucy, Kylie, Andrew and Ashlyn
Lucy slept the whole time I was holding her. It gave my sister in law a break and she took a much needed nap.
Jake with my sister in law Jennifer.
Thanksgiving was a nice day. My parents were even able to join us for our thanksgiving dinner. My mom and Dad brought Marie Calendars pies for dessert. They didn't last very long. They were so good!
