 October 9th, 2014: Anna turned 1

November 22, 2014: My Grandma Romney's funeral

So on November 21st, David and I were suppose to fly to Salt lake city for my grandma's funeral. We took the flyaway to the airport. But the freeways were not nice this evening so we missed our flight. We were 10 minutes too late to check in for the flight. There wasn't a flight to Salt lake till the morning and we would be on Stand-bye. IF we made that flight we would Arrive in Salt lake at 9 am and the funeral was at 9 am. So we made the decision to go back home and we jumped into the truck. We started driving to Utah at midnight and we drove through the night. So, I had already been up since 3 am and we are driving through the night. David and I arrived at the funeral home around 8:30 am and made ourselves presentable for the funeral. 

 

After the funeral and grave service, we did a family lunch at the Spaghetti factory. When all was said and done, David and I went to the hotel (sharing a room with my parents) to sleep till the next day.

December 30th, 2014: Andrew Turned 8

 

April 8th, 2015: Spring Break

So this year we decided to go camping. David and I got a reservation at Buena Vista to camp a couple night. We worked it out with my parents that they would camp the first part of the week at the same campsite that we reserved. They camped Monday to Wednesday. We drove up early Wednesday to camp Wednesday to Friday. We hung out with my parents the whole day on Wednesday going out on the boat. It was a fun day.

The lake was empty this week since Bakersfield wasn't on their spring break till the following week. It was pretty quiet camping days. The kids rode their bikes around and rode over the playground to play. They also would play in the water. When we weren't on the shore, we were out on the boat tubing and wake-boarding.

May18, 2015: Graduation

David finally made it to the end. David has graduated from Cal State Notrthridge with his Mechanical Engineering Degree. We did it!!

 June 8th, 2015: Disneyland
 My parents decided to take the kids and I to Disneyland. It was a very exciting day.

July 4th, 2015: San Diego

We did our yearly trip to San Diego for the 4th of July. We visited with family, played at the beach and  ate great food.  

The largest News of ALL

12 years! Wow!

It has been 12 years since I said "Yes" to this wonderful Man and father. I'm still happy that we made this commitment to one another. I'm looking forward to spend many many more years with this man. I'm very proud of what he as done and in the process of doing to help our family. I love You David!!

Kaitlynn turns 5!!!

 This year we were able to celebrate Kaitlynn's birthday again at the pool. I had her cake made at work just how I wanted it. I then put the ponies on the cake. If you didn't guess, it was a My little Pony party. Sadly this year, our party was a family event.

 Anna was happy to be in the water. She just loves water.

 The grand parents and great Grand parents even made it out.

 Kaitlynn was just so happy about everything she got for her birthday.

 I think Andrew was more excited about Kaitlynn's present.

Andrew helped Kaitlynn blow out her candles. It was a nice day to be at the pool and to spend her birthday with family and friends.

First Day of School

Kaitlynn started Kindergarten this year. She is going to Pinetree and goes all day. She was lucky enough to be in the same kinder class with her friend Gage. Gage and Kaitlynn met last year in Pre-school.

Andrew started the 2nd grade this year. He is still going to Canyon springs and gets on the bus at 6:42 am. I hope we all have a great school year.

10 Months

10 month stats

Anna weight:

(Andrew: 19 lbs 4 oz)

(Kaitlynn: 17 lbs 4 oz)

Not sure what happened but I don't have any stats for 10 months. But what I do know is we have a walker on our hands. This little person is on the move.

9 months

9 month stats

Anna weight: 17 lbs 12 oz (32%)

(Andrew: 18 lbs)

(Kaitlynn: 16 lbs 4 oz)

Anna length: 29 inches (94%)

(Andrew: 27.5)

(Kaitlynn: 27.75 inches)

Thia month Anna learned to climb down the stairs. She surprised us with this. David and the kids were hanging out upstairs when David heard Anna on the stairs. She was half way down and very proud of herself. 

Part 2: The ZOO

While we were in San Diego we took a day to go to the zoo as a family.

We got to the zoo right after in opened and got on their bus system to see all the animals. By going early morning you have the opportunity to see the big cats walking around.

 we were able to see the lions.

After the bus ride, we took the sky tram to the polar bears.

Then a quick look at the white fox because that was one animal Andrew asked us to go look at.

 

 It was fun day and everyone had a blast.

A well needed vacation: Part 1

 This year we had the opportunity to stay in San Diego for a week. We left after I got home from work. We managed to pack a week worth of stuff in our truck.

 Usually when we drive pass the shore and the naval base, we see some cool stuff. This helicopter was flying down the freeway and landing next to it. When we got to San diego, we unpacked what we needed to spend the week in the house we were staying at. We were lucky enough to also have a heated pool at this house and it got used A LOT!

 One of our lazy days we had a silly string fight. I think David got most of the attack.

Just down the street from our house was this cool tank.
