Trunk or treat 2012

 This year I went to the ward trunk or treat by myself. It wasn't as bad I thought is was going to be. The kids stayed in the room and were never out of my sight. They ran around and played every game. They had fun winning candy.

 

 

Both Andrew and Kaitlynn did the cupcake walk to win cupcakes. They were really excited to get one.

 

 

Then Grandpa made them both some cotton candy. Kaitlynn was in heaven with hers. But Andrew had a couple bits of his and put it down. He had something better to do.....

 

He had to win a gold fish! Yes a goldfish!

 

 

Andrew wanted his face painted and asked for a bat.

 

Kaitlynn asked for a butterfly!

 

Then Andrew asked for another bat but bigger!! (The yellow and red is suppose to be a sunset.)

Here they are at the end of trunk or treating. Once we were done, we heading back to the car and home for bed. The kids went to bed with their faces painted too.

Carving pumpkins

 Andrew is soo happy about Halloween this year. He has been begging up to get pumpkins all month long. We finally gave in and got some for the kids to carve. When I got home from work we set up our work station out side and went to work. We got small pumpkins and they were hard to scoop out. I did most of the cleaning.

 Once they were cleaned. I gave them both a sharpie to draw their faces.

 Once the faces were done. I cut them out!

The finished products. Aren't they nice? WE did a good job!

School Carnival

 Yesterday was Andrew's school carnival. They had two jumpers for the kids to play on and school run carnival games. Both Kaitlynn and Andrew had a blast running around. They both waited in line so patiently.

 Here they are going through the first course. Kaitlynn was a little too small to climb up the last wall for the slide but she figured it out and was a pro for the rest of the night.

 Here they are going up and coming down the generic blow up slide.

 They both got their faces painted.

 Character of choice were bats.

Saturday October 13th at 12:30 am, My Brother Jason and his wife Brittany added their third child to their family.

8 lbs 14ozs

20 1/2 inches

I hope that I get a chance this holiday season to meet this little guy.

Feeling down

After 10 years of being married, I still feel like I haven't been excepted. I totally feel like an outsider when everyone gets together. I don't fit in with anyone and that makes me very sad. Its hard to feel loved by a family that just wont talk to you unless they have to. All you hear about is all the stuff that they talk about behind your back. I have recently deleted some family from my account on Facebook. I did so because I'm just done. It would be nice if family would just want to spend time with me and my family. Not as a have to. Everyone comes to California and we don't find out until the day before or the day off their arrival. I would just love to have some communication from the family via text, email, or phone call. It would be nice to have some communication, so that we could plan an afternoon, that is all. Is that too hard to do? Are we really that hard to hang out with? Are my kids not that enjoyable? Am I really that hated? These are just some of the questions that go through my head every single time. I already have a brother and Sister-in-law that hate me.(Yes my own Brother doesn't even care to hang out with his only sister or talk to her.) I just feel so alone with family. The only people that truly love me in my own kids and David. I really is hard to have to be living with your in-laws for 9 1/2 years. It isn't a choose that was suppose to of happened for this long. But it is what it is and we are pushing through it. But has anyone in the family even cared to just ASK and not assume?

EDIT: This is just a post to get my feeling out. I did delete this but I found it and I want to document that I did it. So I have re-posted it. Thanks to those that did post a comment on the first time it was posted. I did read your comments and feel the love.

School picture

My handsome little guy is growing up so fast! I can't believe that he will be turning 6 at the end of the year, has lost two teeth, and is talking more and more every single day. I love this guy so much!

Happy 3rd birthday Kaitlynn!

Kaitlynn turned 3 on the 16th but we celebrated her birthday today! It was a little sad for me because everyone I invited to come and play canceled. But I begged a few friends to come bye so kaitlynn would have some friends. The only thing she asked for was friends for her party.

First day of kindergarden

So my little guy started his first day of kindergarten. This year he started at a new school but an old teacher. His teacher this year is Miss. Jillian Alfest. Andrew had her as a teacher when he started kindergarten before he transferred to a different school. So far all is well and Andrew is listening good.
