First day of kindergarden

So my little guy started his first day of kindergarten. This year he started at a new school but an old teacher. His teacher this year is Miss. Jillian Alfest. Andrew had her as a teacher when he started kindergarten before he transferred to a different school. So far all is well and Andrew is listening good.

Vacation weekend- Monday

On Monday we took my parents boat back to their house. After it was parked in the back yard we headed over to magic mountain. The park was busy but we never had a long wait. We went from 11:30 to 3. It was a relaxing day at the park and so glad that we got season passes. Kaitlynn passed out as soon as the car started to move.

Vacation weekend-Saturday

Saturday we woke up bright and early. We hit the road at 7:30 am to drive to the lake. We were planning on going to mead for the weekend. But we got word that everyone we were going to be hanging out with weren't going to get to mead until we left. So we decided to call some friends and head to buena vista instead for the day. We had a car full and really enjoyed our day. The kids were on their good behaviors and were troopers wearing their life jackets. It was nice to go out on the boat with friends. Thank you to my dad for giving us the okay to take his boat!

A first in this house

So Kaitlynn got an "ouchie". If you ask her how she got it, she will say- 'Andrew did it. He pushed me down the stairs in the basket'
She is correct! Yes, Andrew and Kaitlynn were playing upstairs in the Landry basket and it went down the stairs.

Learning to ride a bike

Drew got a bike for his birthday last December. He hasn't shown much inteset in balancing on it. We noticed when he was riding Kate's balance bike that he was balancing on it. So David took the pedals off Drew's bike and lowered his bike as well. SO Drew's bike is now a balance bike. 

 This was the first time riding his"new" and "Improved" 12' bike on Sunday.

This is Drew Riding is bike today. Much better progress.

I think that Drew will be riding his bike with pedals bye the end of the month.

Growing up too fast

Kate and Drew are growing up too fast. Both of them are potty trained. Kate has an established vocabulary and will repeat everything that she hears. She loves to watch playhouse Disney on the Disney channel. She will answer and question that they ask. She is so opinionated on what she wears and what to do or eat. I have my hands full with this one.

Drew is finishing up pre-school next week and will be going onto kindergarten. He is saying more and more new words everyday now. Just this evening, he said 'open the door please' so he could pick out his movie for bed. David has been working on having drew say that for a month or so now. Tonight he did it all on his own. I was so proud of him.

Drew is playing with Kate more and more now a days. I am so happy for the progress that he has made these last few months.

 Grandma Romney Came to visit!! SO happy that she was able to come.

 

 December 30th, 2011 Andrew turned 5 years old. Wow how the time has gone bye!!!

 David and I went to super-cross at Dodger stadium. It was soooo much better to be sitting in nice seats. Totally want to go next year to Dodgers stadium again.

 The weekend before Easter we went to Albertsons for an Egg hunt. The kids got their faces painted.

Easter morning we had an Easter Egg hunt in our backyard. Both the kids we so excited to hunt for the eggs that the "Bunny"hid.

Okay this is a quick update. I will try a little harder to take pictures with my camera and not my phone so I can do more posts.

Wow!!! Long time no post!

I have so much to catch up on....Christmas, andrew's birthday, and my birthday! Hopefully I can find some time to sit down at computer and not my phone and do some up dates! If any one still cares to hear about what is going on. I will really try to get an update really soon. I hope this weekend I can get it done.
