4th of July 2011

On Monday we woke up early to drive to San Diego for the 4th. We left around 9am and got to San Diego around 11:30. We ate some yummy sandwiches at Penelope and Bob"s house bye Sea World. After lunch we walked down to the beach for an afternoon of fun.
The water is always a little cold, Drew did some running away from the waves until we all we ready to venture out into the water. Oh ya, for those who aren't familiar with the beach we go too. It is a dog beach and has a very large area of shallow water. So it makes it better for Drew to Buggy board.
Here is David taking Drew out on the board.
Then Drew going back out after falling off the board.

The whole time that Drew out buggy boarding, Kaitlynn was happy playing in the sand.
After Drew was done on the board, I took Kaitlynn out for a drift on the board. But that was short lived because Drew had a melt down and wanted to leave the area that we were at. (The melt down was because that black dog in the movie above, jumped on his back.) Since we were only at the beach for maybe half an hour and not hours like we had planned. We decided to clean up back at the house and Drive home. We still had time to end the day at the pool.

Hey, you're doing much better than I am with your little running ticker. Good for you!

Yeah my ticker hasn't moved for a month now. I haven't gone running for a couple weeks. I just started going out again.
